Her supportive nature to everyone makes classes uplifted and motivated to keep coming back.

'Not just a job but a way of life'

Teresa has worked in the fitness industry for over 18 years and says: "fitness isn't just a job for me, it's a way of life.

Her classes run regularly in Heanor, Marlpool, Brinsley, Kirk Hallam and West Hallam.

Participant Lesley Beresford said: "I have been attending her classes in Amber Valley and Erewash for the last five years and have seen her classes grow with regular ladies/girls and children attending.

"Some, like myself, had never stuck at any form of exercise or class for more than six months until Teresa came along.

'Supportive to all'

"She is supportive to all, especially fundraising ideas for good causes brought in by members of her classes. She is also uplifting with her classes, embracing the feel good factor.

"I look at Teresa and Zumba as my weekly dose of uplift, whether I need it or not."
