Revenue funding resources
These grant funding opportunities may be appropriate for a wide range of projects related to sport and physical activity.
Derbyshire County Council Action Grants
The Action Grants programme is helping groups with good ideas to make their communities better places to live. Groups from all parts of Derbyshire (excluding Derby) are able to apply. Money is available for schemes that encourage residents of all ages to take part in physical activities, keep fit and stay healthy - or those that encourage people to get active if they're not already.
The final deadline for this grant opportunity is 31st May 2020. Have a look at the funding tutorials below to make sure you are well prepared to submit a good application to this fund.
Sport England Small Grants
Could you help people in your community become more physically active? Would a grant of between £300 and £10,000 help make your ideas happen? Sport England want to support projects that help everyone (5 years and above) to take part in physical activity whether this is formal sport or informal activity aiming to help people lead more active lifestyles.
The short tutorial video below tells you all about the fund and gives you some key hints and tips to write a good funding application.
National Lottery Communities Fund - Awards for All
Awards for All offers grants up to £10K for up to 1 year. This fund might be suitable for small capital or revenue projects. They have three funding priorities which are:
- bring people together and build strong relationships in and across communities
- improve the places and spaces that matter to communities
- help more people to reach their potential, by supporting them at the earliest possible stage.
Your funding application should address at least one of these priorities.
The short presentation below gives you the key facts about the Awards for All programme.
