Everyone has been there at some point. How do I get started? Or how do I get back into it having been away for so long?
Well, the following women have all found themselves in that same situation and are on hand to offer their support, help and encouragement.
"I am a Ballroom and Latin Dance Teacher and I am from Kirkby-in-Ashfield. I am delighted to have been asked to be an ambassador for Pinxton Girls Can.
"I have been dancing since the age of four and qualified as a Ballroom dance teacher almost 2 years ago with the IDTA.
"I have just recently started some dance classes for Children and Adults in Pinxton and Jacksdale. I hope to bring something to the community and also make Ballroom and Latin more popular. I would also like to show people that it isn't just for old people like they may think but that it can be current and people of all ages can enjoy it.
"If you are looking for a bit of a fitness class my Latin in line class is lots of fun with people of all different ages and abilities. You don't need to wear anything special just something you feel you can move about in and make sure you wear comfortable footwear as we do around 4000 steps in an hour class!
"If you would like to contact me I have a Facebook page @laurenmonksschoolofdance, my phone number is 07812 994066 and my email is firstname.lastname@example.org"
Forget about the excersice! and let loose with the fantastic music of Zumba Fitness!
"I'm Dey Johnson, a wife and a mum of two beautiful boys. Zumba came into my life in 2011 and I fell in love immediately with the music. I think it's amazing and so versatile, based in Latin American flavours and international bits too. Zumba has never let me down!
"I and my twin sister Liz Hoole are "THE MEXICAN TWINS" and we teach Zumba fitness classes. We have 20 years' experience in Latin, Salsa, Flamenco, Belly dancing, Cumbia, Merengue, Samba, modern dance, ballet, Hawaiano, Thaitiano, Reggaeton and regional Mexican dance (Quebradita and Duranguense).
"When I teach I try to deliver the best in every single class. For me it's very important because I want to create a positive impact to each one of my participants. During the Zumba hour, it's not about me, it's about them, and I help them to forget about the problems they are facing throughout their day.
"I consider myself as a positive, friendly and grateful person. Zumba makes me feel happier within myself because I receive so many positive vibes and energy from all of the Zumba participants, and this helps me to become a better instructor and person to help other women to reach their goals.
"During the last 6 years, our aim has been to persuade and motivate as many people as we can at DEY ZUMBA LIZ LOPEZ. It works wonders! Zumba is a great therapy, as it helps us to be happier, healthier, stronger, confident, beautiful and sexier.
"Lots of friendships have been made throughout our Zumba classes, it's a super way to socialise. We have met many marvellous people during this time and we hope we will carry on motivating and inspiring more people for more years to come.
"I'm teaching Zumba Fitness class every Thursday at 7:30pm in Pinxton Miners Welfare. Everyone is welcome to join 13+"
