Derbyshire Dales CVS has regular coffee mornings on Zoom, usually every other Thursday morning, these are a chance for community groups in the Derbyshire Dales to get together online.

On Thursday 28th January the speaker will be Gary Beharrell from Lloyds Bank Foundation, and on the 11th February, Dawn Watts from BBC Children in Need.

Specific funding talks are planned too – on Friday 12th February - a talk from Severn Trent Community Fund about their funding stream and on the 9th March - the National Lottery Community Fund.

To book a place at any event please email enquiries@ddcvs.org.uk so that you can be sent the Zoom link.

The grant schemes administered by Derbyshire Dales CVS are still running, the Better Derbyshire Dales Fund has a closing date of 11th February, the Five Ways to Wellbeing has a closing date of 31st March.

This year DDCVS is also administering the small grants for the Police and Crime Commissioner Vulnerability Fund. These need to be sent in as soon as possible, ideally by the 1st February, and may suit groups working to support people with projects from the following list who are wishing to prevent victimisation, repeat victimisation or create safer local community outcomes: - local residents' groups, self-help or support groups working with vulnerable people, youth groups, village halls and community centres, mental health groups, user-led organisations representing and supporting people with specific protected characteristics (such as disabled people's groups, BAME community groups, LGBTQ groups).
