Free learning opportunity for community organisations supporting communities through COVID-19

Learning Together is a flexible programme of regional learning and development activities for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise groups and organisations supporting their communities' needs through COVID-19.

Those joining Learning Together will be offered a learning package tailored to their areas' needs. Accessed over 2 hours a month in a flexible way, so you can learn at your own pace, participants will be able to take part in a series of online workshops and virtual peer-to-peer learning sessions organised regionally, (known as action learning sets), as well as exclusive opportunities to network with others on Learning Together from your area. These core elements will be on offer, but these will be enhanced to respond to the needs expressed by those joining and supplementary activities developed.

You will also be connected with a regional Thriving Communities lead, who will help you connect with other groups and organisations to stimulate new partnerships with arts, natural environment, financial wellbeing, physical activity and health and care organisations, including social prescribing link workers. These opportunities are only available through Learning Together.

Upon completing Learning Together, you will be able to:

  • build new partnerships across sectors, including arts, financial wellbeing, natural environment, leisure, physical activity and sport, health and care
  • network with others from your region
  • share and explore challenges of your work with other community leaders, learn from others and consider possible solutions
  • champion your work in supporting communities through COVID-19

Learning Together is free to join. Recognising that partnerships and networks take time develop and the organisations have competing demands Learning Together runs for 6 months via a virtual platform.

Whether your organisation is large or small, you can take part.
