Round 2 of the Falls Prevention Small Grants programme has been launched. Grants up to £500 are available for groups to run awareness raising activity.
It's a really simple application form and open to teams and community groups. You don't even have to be a constituted group. As well as the small grants, they can offer support to help people plan their activity. They can join them up with local speakers and provide publicity materials if needed.
Deadline for applications 16th December
Also, free training is available: 'Creative Approaches to Remote Engagement'. This is a short 75 minute online training designed to help people think about different ways to engage with their communities online, and remotely. This is part of the Falls Prevention Campaign so they will be talking about falls awareness, but the ideas shared can be used across any setting.
