Pride of Table Tennis Awards are now open!

The Pride of Table Tennis Awards celebrate and honour the immense contribution volunteers make to our sport by recognising and rewarding their efforts each year. Volunteers are the heartbeat of table tennis and without them, our great sport would not be able to flourish and grow.

The Pride of Table Tennis Awards give you the opportunity to nominate volunteers for the valuable, outstanding and often unseen contributions they have given to the sport over the last 12 months.

Nominations are now open and will close on Sunday 18th October 2020 at 11:59pm

The local awards are extremely important to recognise the countless volunteers who make clubs and leagues run seamlessly up and down the country, year on year. So, if there is an inspirational volunteer or young volunteer in your club or league, someone who has gone 'above and beyond' in the past 12 months, now is the time to nominate them!

Everyone who is honoured in this way at local level will receive a certificate and will be put forward to the regional and national awards. By nominating you will also be automatically placed into a prize draw with a chance of winning a signed England T-Shirt.

Johnathon Driscoll, who leads on the Pride of Table Awards notes:

"The Pride of Table Tennis Awards is a fantastic initiative to celebrate and honour the unsung heroes in our sport. We want to make sure they do not remain unsung but rather recognised for their huge contribution they make. Without their dedication and commitment to table tennis, our sport would simply not function"

New this year, the awards include the Lockdown Local Hero category – so if you know someone who has kept things going for everyone in your Club or League during these challenging recent months, why not make sure they get the recognition they deserve?
