Funding for BAME organisations working in the heart of their communities

The £1m Phoenix Fund will support Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic charities and groups that are working in the heart of their communities during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fund supports groups which are:

  • Are registered, unregistered, incorporated, unincorporated, and/or unconstituted
  • Work with participants and communities of any age
  • Are led by representatives of Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities and work within BAME communities**
  • Have annual operating budgets up to £100,000 per year.

Phoenix Fund grant winners will receive flexible, core funding to meet critical needs and continue their organisations' missions.

There are four short application windows with deadlines on 21 August, 2 September, 16 September and 13 October.
