Funding for capital costs or one-off short term activity

The Rank Foundation has now reopened applications for their July 2020 meeting.

If you are raising money for a particular project for which the mainstay is capital costs (building work, refurbishment or the purchase of long-term equipment) or a one-off short-term activity (such as an annual respite break or holiday for disadvantaged young people) and have already raised a third of the total costs, you may be eligible for a Pebble Grant from the Rank Foundation:

  • Are you making a funding application on behalf of either a UK-based Charity, CIC, CIO, CBS or Cooperative that is registered with the Charities' Commission and/or Companies House?
  • Are you looking for funding for a capital works or a short breaks programme which will benefit UK residents and take place in the UK?
  • Are the total costs of your project £150K or lower?
  • Have you already raised at least 1/3rd of the project costs and your organisation's income is below £500K?

If you can answer yes to all these questions, then your organisation might be eligible for a Pebble Grant from the Rank Foundation.

Any applications received after early June 2020 will be considered at their November 2020 meeting.
