Derbyshire Falls Prevention Awareness Small Grants

Grants of up to £200 are available for you to help raise awareness of falls prevention. Grants of up to £400 are available for more ambitious proposals

This fund is open for voluntary and community groups, businesses and public sector teams across Derbyshire County (excluding Derby City). The aim is to help people plan and run activities to raise awareness about the risks of falls and how to prevent them.

This is the first round of the fund. A second round will run later in the year. The total funding pot is £5,000 so they are looking for small and creative ideas that can reach those older people who are at risk of falling. Round 1 must take place between April and July 2020.

They would like groups to commit to running a campaign, an awareness raising event, or an activity that will reach at least 25 participants. Proposals that involve more people will be viewed more favourably.

The closing date for applications is: Sunday 12th April 2020. Successful applicants will be informed on Friday 24th April, 2020
