Derbyshire Dales - Five Ways to Wellbeing Funding

The Derbyshire Dales, Five Ways to Wellbeing Grant Funding is continuing for 2019/20.

This scheme is about increasing the understanding of the 'Five Ways to Wellbeing' by people who are at a higher risk of developing mental ill health.

The 'Five Ways' are:

  • Connect;
  • Be Active;
  • Take Notice;
  • Keep Learning;
  • Give.

You do not have to meet all five, but you do need to meet AT LEAST one of the Five Ways to Wellbeing. See the guidance to the fund for more details, however activities could include walking running, cycling, dancing, exercising, physical activities, try something new, rediscovering an old interest, learning new things will make people more confident as well as being fun, volunteering or give their time to a community activity...

Applications are welcomed from any voluntary or community group in the Dales, or a Community Interest Company, that might offer something such as activities, support or even a one-off presentation about the Five Ways to Wellbeing.

Groups can apply for a grant of up to £1,000.

The deadline for applications is 5.00pm on Monday 1st July 2019.
