ICON's Dalley claims third place at Keysoe

Derby City ICON athlete Matthew Dalley enjoyed a successful first Para Showjumping appearance with horse Womble.

The 23-year-old, from Alvaston, guided his ride to a double clear round at an event held in Keysoe, Bedfordshire at the weekend.

That enabled the Scropton RDA member to clinch a well-earned third place in the Grade II class.

"I am very thrilled with the performance and we would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our coach, Ann Hunter for her guidance and the practice preparation on our new partnership towards the weekend," said Matthew.

"I look forward to begin our preparation for the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) National Championships in July to take part in the Graded Showjumping and in the RDA Grade 4 Championship Test Class."
