About Apprentice Community Sport and Health Apprentice x 3

The Council wants all neighbourhoods within Rotherham to be successful and for the residents to be well, reach their potential and to get along well with each other. The Neighbourhoods Team plays an important role in achieving this by delivering the Council's Thriving Neighbourhoods Strategy.

In this apprenticeship you will work with councillors, council services and key partners (e.g. Police & NHS, sports clubs, community groups, etc.) to achieve better health outcomes for local people and communities.

You will help to create opportunities that get more people, more active, more often through the delivery of neighbourhood based community sport and physical activities that are accessible to all. This is very rewarding work!

You will receive training and gain nationally recognised qualifications which can be tailored to your individual ambitions.

For an informal chat you can contact Sarah Currer or Nicola Hacking on 01709 334743 or email sarah.currer@rotherham.gov.uk

Please state clearly on your application form which is your preferred location.

This post will have access to the Public Services Network, if successful you will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records check at the Basic level (unspent criminal convictions).
