In light of the latest guidance regarding COVID 19, we wanted to contact you to let you know how we're planning to handle this period of change as an organisation and how we can continue to support the people who live, work and study in our communities to become and remain active. Our team are already set up to work remotely and have now started to do so. We are working flexibly and plan to switch any existing face to face meetings to video calls when possible, otherwise to phone calls, we want to be adaptable and are ready to develop creative solutions to continue our work.

In terms of our upcoming workshops and courses, we'll be monitoring the situation and government advice and amending the delivery of these accordingly. Our current plan is to cancel workshops and courses for the next month – up to and including the Talking Insights - Women and girls workshops.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and endeavor to get in touch with everyone who has been invited/registered to this workshop as soon as possible with an invitation to the revised date. Thank you for your understanding.

Talking Insights workshops provide an informal space for delegates to share, discuss and learn from experiences, whilst providing the perfect opportunity to network with those who share the same vision- to make physical activity the norm

This particular workshop will share learning, insights and stories to better understand inactivity amongst females. If you work in our communities and want to be a part of the conversation and learn together, we hope you can join us!

The workshop will cover:

• Local insight headlines- prevalence of inactivity in priority groups
• How life events can affect physical activity levels for females
• How capability, motivation and opportunities influence physical activity
• Learning how physical activity can be a vehicle for change- shared stories
