About Mount Cook Adventure Centre

Mount Cook is a brand new not-for-profit Adventure Centre, based on the outskirts of the Peak District. We use the spectacular natural environment surrounding our Centre to provide access to a range of exciting outdoor adventure activities and outdoor lea

Our Centre provides a safe, friendly environment where our guests have the freedom to enjoy the outdoors and experience new, exciting activities. You can scale great heights on our high-ropes course, get wet with our water-sports, or unleash your inner Robin Hood with our archery sessions. All of our activities are designed to encourage team-work, develop leadership and communication skills, and build on self-confidence and resilience in the face of set-backs.

After an action-packed day of activities, a good night's sleep is very important! Mount Cook can accommodate 140 guests in modern bedrooms with bunk beds, complimentary bedding and en-suite bathrooms in every room. There are also wheel-chair accessible rooms available, which sleep just two guests. Our Centre is a full catering facility, serving three nutritious meals throughout the day in our glass-fronted Main Dining Hall.

We offer residential trips of any lengths, activity days, after-school evening sessions and clubs and holiday camps. We welcome people of all ages to our Centre, with the majority of our activities suitable for children aged 6+. Activity sessions are delivered to minimum group sizes of 8 people.

Mount Cook is also the perfect location for any event, conference, party, celebration and even weddings!
