Cycling route maps available online

The Peak District National Park Authority has a variety of cycling route maps available online.

The maps are a valuable resource which partners can link to when promoting cycling to Derbyshire residents as well as visitors to the county.

The maps have been split into three categories: Easy Going, Explorer, and Extended.
Under 'Easy Going' you can find gentle mainly traffic-free routes ideal for beginners, family and leisure cyclists, and which are suitable for bikes, buggies and wheelchairs. This includes the Monsal Trail, Tissington Trail, High Peak Trail and Carsington Loop.

Under 'Explorer' you will find day or half day circular routes on quiet roads with sections of traffic-free trails. They include Ordnance Survey maps and helpful advice and are carefully researched so that participants can enjoy picturesque views, friendly pubs and cafes. This includes routes which start and finish at Ashbourne, Carsington, Matlock and Hathersage.

Under 'Extended' you will find multi-day routes for cycle touring which pass through and around the Peak District, including the Pennine Cycleway, Pennine Bridleway and the Tour de Peak District.

Routes can be viewed online and downloaded as a pdf or gpx.
