Coaching Derbyshire aims to help increase the number of coaches across the county and support those already coaching.
The vision of Active Derbyshire is to develop and support a community of qualified and skilled coaches.
Visit the Inclusive Coaching section to find information and resources on how to make your coaching sessions inclusive, whether you are working with people with disabilities, females or older people.
If you have you found a course and you're now looking for funding support, take a look at our range of bursaries.
Already qualified and looking for your next coaching opportunity? Head over to our Job Vacancies page to find out who needs you.
We also have a range of documents and information on our guidance and support pages, including our take on the coaching pathway, best practice guidelines, mentoring opportunities, minimum operating standards and links to other key organisations you may find useful.
Active Derbyshire is working with the Royal Foundation (the charitable foundation for the Duke Duchess of Cambridge and Duke and Duchess of Sussex) and Life time Training, to establish a new apprenticeship programme, Coach Core, that will help organisations develop their capacity and ability to reach priority groups and communities using sport and physical activity.
We offer financial support for training courses so please check out our Coach busary for more details.
