Ballet Fusion

Ballet Fusion is an adult ballet class. If you want the long, lean and toned look of the professional dancer then this is the class for you. Our adult ballet classes are suitable for absolute beginners as well as those who have danced all their lives. This class is not just about cardiovascular fitness, it also teaches posture, co-ordination, grace and musical appreciation. It sculpts your body and tones your muscles without bulking. It strengthens back and abdominal muscles and, most importantly, is highly enjoyable and fun! This class begins with a gentle warm-up which is repeated the same everyweek. This is followed by barre work where your muscles will begin the sculp and strength experience. most exercises are made differently each week with a few of the extra good ones repeated on a weekly basis. The centre practice is where the fun begins starting with a traditional port de bras (a graceful routine using lots of beautiful arm movements) You will begin to embrace your inner grace. The port de bras is followed by the most enjoyable feeling of dizziness where you try to learn the art of multiple turns without falling over, beware you may feel your abdominal muscles working hard as you laugh! Once your balance has returned and the room has stopped spinning your cardiovascular fitness will be challenged along with your brain as short jumping routines are learned. These are fast paced to help keep your brain young and fresh and to keep the muscles moving to create the long lean look. The class comes to and end with a reverence (cool-down) and guided stretches. If you are looking for an exercise class that will bring tears of laughter at the same time as sculpting your body in to perfection definitely come along and give this a try!
