- Integrity
- Passion
- Inclusive
- Collaborate
How we are funded
Funding for the work of Active Derbyshire is provided by a number of partners including Sport England, Derbyshire County Council, Amber Valley Borough Council, Bolsover District Council, Chesterfield Borough Council, Derby City Council, Derbyshire Dales District Council, Erewash Borough Council, High Peak Borough Council, North East Derbyshire District Council, South Derbyshire District Council and the University of Derby.
Funding from Sport England is a mixture of revenue funding for the core team and funding for specific programmes to increase participation in sport and physical activity. Active Derbyshire (and partners) work to a national specification agreed with Sport England.
How we are governed
An Active Partners Trust board governs the work of our organisation with an Active Derbyshire Panel overseeing the work within Derbyshire.
